Jasna Copic holds the position of Solution Manager MES (Manufacturing Execution System) at Technology and Infrastructure. In her new role she has end-to-end responsibility for her Solution and is part of the management team of the Smart Operations Delivery (SOD) network organization. In parallel, she reports within her line organization directly to Head of Electrical and Process Control in the Process Technology & Engineering business line.
Jasna Copic studied Chemical engineering at Arizona State University and has a master’s degree of education from the University of the Virgin Islands.
Prior to joining Evonik, she had spent nine years in fourth largest refinery in the USA. There she held different positions within the same company, and fulfilled the roles as Advanced Process Control engineer, managing a virtual plant simulator project, and leading a process engineering team. Since 2011 Jasna Copic has been in Marl with Process Technology & Engineering’s Automation team as a project engineer for process control. Her contributions consisted in development of technical standards for alarm management, and OT Security for Safety.
The experience in project engineering will serve her well in the role as a Solution Manager in the Smart Operations Delivery team.
