Tony Brayford currently serving as the Asset Performance Management (APM) Enterprise Advisor for Aspentech in Europe.

As an experienced Process Industry Professional – with experience in the Oil Gas, Chem, Water Waste Water, Power Gen, Pharms and Food segments with a history of working in the Process Automation arena domestically in his native UK and Internationally.

Prior to joining Aspentech Tony developed his craft Over his 26 year career in the Process and Energy industries with some of the leading players in the Industry, Leading teams nationally and internationally including Schneider Electric’s Process Automation Business, where he held a number of senior sales leadership positions including Sales Director Process Automation and Segment Director Oil and Gas UKI, UK Sales Lead for Rockwell Automation’s Oil and Gas and Heavy Industries segments and Regional Vice President Europe for Eaton’s Oil and Gas Business and Global Director of Sales with Eaton’s MEDC business. In addition to this Tony spent a brief period as co-lead of a start-up renewable energy business.

Tony earned his first degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Hull University and complemented that with an MBa from The Open University.

Tony lives in the UK, on the South Yorkshire / North Notts border close to Sheffield with his wife, 18 year old daughter and 15 year old son. When not working Tony enjoys cycling, running and walking with his dog up on the North Yorkshire coast. He enjoys getting his hands dirty with a couple of old MG’s in the garage and he plays the electric guitar quite badly.
